Dee Jay Snow started Dee Jaying at a very young age and was inspired by the Dee Jay’s in the local parks.  He would watch them for hours as they would rock the crowd with their beat juggling and scratching.  He would then go home and try to duplicate what he had heard by using his Father’s Technic Turntable and Receiver.  He would practice his scratching everyday for hours while his father was at work.  His father got tired of him breaking his needles so for his 11th birthday he received (2) Technic 1500 turntables, a Radio Shack mixer and headphones from a local pawn shop.  He started practicing on Rock and Disco records that belonged to his father, slowly developing his skills.  He met DJ Red Alert at the age of 12 and was taught by DJ Red Alert on the fundamentals of how to mix, scratch, and rock house parties.
